Main Street Clean Sweep

Bluegrass Greensource will be holding the 12th Annual Main Street Clean Sweep in celebration of the 5th Earth Day. Before and during Earth Week, April 19-27, local community coordinators will work with Bluegrass Greensource to host cleanup events in 20 communities throughout Central Kentucky. Volunteers in each community will join together to clean up litter from city streets, parks, and local waterways. In 2024, nearly 800 volunteers worked to pick up over 10,000 pounds of litter in just one week.
